STAKE FACT:
Modern Equipment

Most stake companies have changed hands so many times leaving them heavily financed as to where they cannot afford new equipment.  We on the other hand have been in operation since 1978 and have kept our facilities at the same location, making us well poised to buy up small operations and now concentrate on building a new state of the art stake production facility.  We have all new modern and automated equipment, for 2004 we received a new truck & trailer and a forklift, part of our saws and packaging machinery is being upgraded in late 2004.  The majority of our saws are under 4 years old, our trucks are 2003 and newer, all 5 of them.

STAKE FACT:
Location, Location, Location

Paved parking lots, no Mobile homes or port-a-potties here.  Most large production facilities are located in out of the way locations.  We on the other hand locate in the heart of suburban areas, always near a school system. Why?  The large resources of people needing jobs and the proximity of our customers.  We employee local residents of the areas we are located in.  We also locate our facilities near the customers we supply.  A single facility supplier will not want to travel more than 4 hours each way to you, that means his truck will be gone all day to deliver to you.

STAKE FACT:
We stock more lumber than most lumber yards do
A semi load of 6' 2x6's will have 3840 boards
A semi load of 8' 2x4's will have 4224 boards
A semi load of 16" 1x1 stakes will have 198,000 stakes
A semi load of 18" 1x2 stakes will have 85,000 stakes
That is a lot of cutting

STAKE FACT:

Outdated Production Methods
With all the years of experience we have had and all the operations we have purchased over the years has allowed us to excel in developing new production methods or adjusting the way in which we make something.  By not being restricted to older outdated equipment (believe me, we have seen all the stake producers operations out there) we are able to more quickly adapt to the changing market needs and not have production equipment or trucks referred to as 'An Anchor' or something that is holding us down.  While we know most stake companies run out of a barn or a one car garage can sell cheaper, but can they compete with our large facilities that stay dry during the rain, our able crews ready to produce, and a fleet of modern delivery vehicles and the desire to deliver what was promised.  Will they be there when you need them?
